Aconcagua - Health & Entry requirements You can view the British Government's latest advice here. We suggest clients discuss their vaccination requirements with their GP and refer to the TravelHealthPro website, which comprises the travel health resources of the National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC), which was set up by the Department of Health with the broad aim of Protecting the Health of British Travellers. Visas are not required from any Western or first world country to enter Argentina. However, in order to enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park permits must be bought beforehand. These need to be acquired personally in the city of Mendoza and are a requirement for all visitors, whether the full ascent of Aconcagua is attempted or not. Permits are obtained from the the Park Authority Office on Avenida de los Plátanos in Parque General San Martín, which we will visit on the morning of Day 2.
