The Yorkshire three peaks consist of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. Trekking these 3 peaks would see you trekking over 6000ft in 24 hours across the Penine Mountain Range that is surrounded by immense views of the historic nature of Yorkshire, something that is up close when you arrive at the summit of Ingleborough, where you will see the remains of a hill fort. 

All 3 peaks are of similar difficulty and height with each summit lying at between 2200-2450 ft, meaning that they provide a challenge, but an extremely rewarding one at that. During this trek you will be accompanied by Everest Summiteer Ricky Munday as well as other professional mountaineers who will ensure your safety. Additionally transport and food will be provided between each in order to ensure that your full concentration can be put on completing this challenge.

Your safety is our top priority. Our activities are fully risk assessed and we hold Public Liability Insurance via Lockton LLP. Our leaders carry a mountain first aid kit, an emergency shelter, a fully charged mobile phone & spare battery, spare warm clothing & emergency food and we have two-way radio contact with all of our guides at all times during an event. We hold a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Operator Licence.

Financial protection

We comply fully with the Package Travel Regulations and hold Financial Failure Insurance – so your money is fully protected. This policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Inspire Alpine®. This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Travel through Zurich Insurance PLC. 


Regardless of the time of year, we may experience cloud, rain, wind, sun and even snow. The temperatures will be much cooler higher on the mountain tops, so having layers that you can add to and take off will work. We will of course adjust walking plans to take into consideration any adverse conditions, otherwise we go out in ‘most’ weather conditions, hence having waterproof and warm kit will help us carry on with our plans. Your Mountain Leaders are experience and qualified to make appropriate decisions about group safety. They will carry necessary group and safety equipment and are certified in Outdoor Emergency First Aid.

How To Book 

The booking process is as follows: 

1. Choose your ticket type below. You can choose:

  • Self-funded - Full payment by bank transfer: £90
  • Self-funded - Full payment online: £91.35 (1.5% fee added)
  • Self-funded - Deposit paid by bank transfer : £30
  • Self-funded - Deposit paid online : £30.45 (1.5% fee added)
  • Fundraising for Inspire Alpine® - Registration fee by bank transfer: £50
  • Fundraising for Inspire Alpine® - Registration fee online: £50.75 (1.5% fee added)

You'll receive an email acknowledging receipt of your payment/booking.

2. Once you've booked and/or paid your deposit you'll receive a second email requiring you to complete our online Client Information & Medical Declaration Form, which must be completed before we can confirm your booking.

If you have a balance to pay, you can pay by bank transfer. Once you've submitted your  Client Information & Medical Declaration Form, we'll send you an invoice by email and this will include our bank details. 

You'll also need to read and agree to both our UK Trips Booking Terms & Conditions and our Participation Agreement (see below) - you will be asked to confirm this during Step 1 above when selecting your ticket type.

Altrenatively, you can choose to raise funds for our social mission - with this option, you pay your non-refundable registration fee of £50 when booking and pledge to raise a minimum amount of £100 sponsorship for our own social impact work with disadvantaged young people.
